Creating headlines and hairlines since her early days as the founder of lifestyle salon group A Cut Above, Datin Dr. Winnie Loo has not rested on her laurel but instead pushes her boundaries to do more than just cutting hair. 

As the helm of the country’s most prestigious group of salons, A Cut Above, Datin Dr. Winnie is the unmatched name in the hairstyling industry. Trained at Morris Masterclass International & Hair Maestro Vidal Sassoon, she started her first salon in 1979. Her skill and professionalism transformed her business and the industry into what the landscape is today. Even from her early years, she has rightfully earned all manner of prestigious awards. 

The maestra of hairstyling in Malaysia earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Asia Metropolitan University, completing her studies in 2019. The following year, she was appointed as an Adjunct Professor, exemplifying that age is no barrier to success—driven by commitment and conviction, anything is possible with perseverance.

However, in 2008, when her husband had a heart bypass, she profoundly shifted her outlook on life. Despite having amassed an extensive list of accolades, there is something far more significant to her—something few are aware of.
